Trey Cunningham, an adidas professional athlete, was honored as the men's recipient of the Bowerman Award at a ceremony at the Gaylord Rockies Resort and Convention Center in Aurora, Colo. Cunningham became the second male winner representing Florida State, joining Ngoni Makusha in 2011. Cunningham swept the NCAA Division 1 indoor 60-meter hurdles and outdoor 110-meter hurdles titles for the Seminoles, along with securing a silver medal in the 110 hurdles at the World Championships.
